Our main clinic in Great Chesterford is very easily accessible by wheelchair.
My other locations:
Chelmsford - has multiple treatment rooms but with a few hours notice I can ensure I am working from one on the ground floor so access is possible.
Holland on sea - Fully accessible
Huntingdon - Unfortunately not accessible as the treatment room is upstairs.
We will go through a full colour consultation at your appointment where we can discuss your preferences and choose a shade that compliments your skin tone. You can also bring along your favourite lipstick and we can do a colour match!
I would advise you avoid exercise for 24 hours after your appointment.
Light walking aside, definitely avoid cardio, strength training, and any movements where your head ends up below your heart e.g. yoga / Pilates.
You can do either!
If getting Botox before you must ensure the product is fully settled and wait atleast 2 weeks before getting pmu.
Otherwise you can get PM first and Botox straight after treatment, but it's advisable to give the area some time to heal if your skin is irritated.
It hugely varies person to person.
When deciding what PMU to go for we take into consideration your Skin type, texture, ethnicity and even routine to ensure the treatment offer can heal perfectly and give you long lasting beautiful results.
Unfortunately Botox isn't forever.
The action of the neurotoxin will wear off and the nerves will again be able to send those signals to the muscles to start working or contracting. Typically, Botox lasts 3-4 months.
There will certainly be patients in which in lasts longer, in that
4-6 month range, or some shorter, in that 2-month range.
After PMU you must wait at least 2 weeks until the skin is fully healed and scabbing all gone before applying fake tan to your face / near your brows.
For lamination, or waxing treatments I would advise you wait at least 48 hours.
Lamination is quite a strong solution, that being said I have many clients with sensitive skin who absolutely love having lami!
I will always do a patch test before the first treatment on any client so we are minimising any chances of irritating the skin.
You can use the same skincare post Botox but you should avoid washing your face or applying any skincare products to the treated area for at least 4 hours after the treatment. Once this time has passed, you can gently wash your face and resume your normal skincare routine, being careful not to touch or rub the treated area too roughly.
But avoid using anything perceived as 'active' skincare. This includes products which contain Retinol, Vitamin C, Hydroxy Acids or Beta Hydroxy Acid for at least 3 days after treatment.
You can drink alcohol after any treatments I offer.
That said, some people do experience a little bruising after a Botox treatment, and alcohol could potentially make that worse.
I would always advise you avoid alcohol for at least 24hours
BEFORE pmu, tattoo, laser and botox.
